Every tub of Radiance Gold ends up somewhere specific, a stable in Yorkshire, a kitchen floor in Devon, a field gate at six in the morning. These are some of the owners who wrote to tell us what happened next.
We don't stage these. The photos come from owners themselves, taken weeks or months apart, usually on a phone, usually in bad light. The words are theirs too. Every horse and dog is different, and so is every result, but if you're standing where these owners were standing a few months ago, we hope it helps to read them.
THE TAIL THAT GREW BACK
Anyone who has owned a horse that rubs will recognise the first photo. The dock worn down to bare skin, the hair broken off in tufts, and a tail that looks thinner every week once the midges arrive. His owner had tried everything the yard suggested and spent every summer watching the same thing happen again. Then the rubbing eased off, and the hair started coming back through, first as stubble across the bare patch, then as a tail long enough to be a nuisance again. The second photo is the same horse, same tail, taken by the same owner on the same phone.
Coat and condition
Not every story starts with something dramatic. This one wasn't ill and wasn't itching — he just looked flat. A dull coat that never quite shone however long you spent on it, and the sort of topline you'd describe as "fine" without ever being pleased with. His owner started him on Radiance Gold without expecting much and mostly forgot about it. The difference crept up on her, the way that kind of change usually does, until someone else on the yard said it out loud. Same horse, same gateway, same grey evening light.
The One Who Stopped Rubbing
It is never only the tail. Look at the quarters in the first photo, the coat standing up in dull, broken patches where she had been going at anything solid enough to lean on, and a tail worn down to strings. Her owner said the hardest part was hearing it happen at night and knowing there was nothing to be done until morning. What changed first was the rubbing; the coat followed. The second photo is the same mare on the same yard, with a full tail and a coat you can see the sun in.
